TIMESCALES

For Stationery – 3 months

Due to the pandemic there’s been a huge amount of diary shuffling going on which means that spaces have popped up throughout the year. As many of my designs can be created in advance there’s always room to wiggle things in, so if you think you’re too late give me a shout anyway. The chances are I’ll be able to squeeze you in!

How to Book

1 – CONTACT ME

Book a chat with Jen to discuss your ideas, ideally you will have some inspiration to hand – things you like, colours, themes etc. It’s also useful to know roughly how many you will need for day invites, evening invites envelopes, order of the day, menus etc… Don’t worry if these change, we will confirm quantities before printing. Pop an email over to me and we’ll get a date in the diary to have a chat!

2 – WHAT HAPPENS IN THE CONSULTATION?

Once we have found a time that suits we’ll have a blether so you can tell me about your plans, your inspo, special colours, the budget and anything else you’re keen to share. Then Jen will explain how the design process works and what the next steps are. She’ll take all the info you provide to be able to send you a quote with printing costs included.

3 – QUOTE & BOOKING

After our chat I’ll send you a detailed quote for what we discussed. At this stage you can tweak what you’d like to continue with, please note that quotes are valid for 30 days as the cost of printing changes all the time. At this stage we will agree timescales for the design and print of your Stationery. 

If you’re happy to progress then I’ll send an invoice, a £50 non-refundable deposit is due to secure the booking . Once the deposit has been received I’ll send you over a form to complete which has all the key info on that I will need to create your invites. How long this takes to return is often dependent on how far along you are with your planning. If you need a little more time that’s ok! 

4 – DESIGN

The design process starts once I’ve received your completed form. If there is a very loose brief I will often send over concepts before a first draft to ensure we are on the same wavelength. Following confirmation of a design route I’ll create the first draft and send this to you via email for feedback and changes. Two sets of changes are included in your costs, any additional changes are charged at £40 per set thereafter. 

5 – APPROVAL FOR PRINT

When you receive the final draft you will be asked to very carefully check the dates, spelling and grammar. It is the clients responsibility to ensure there are no errors on the invitations, so please read it, get your mu, dad, bestie, auntie or boss to have a read too if you want to have a belt and braces approach! Once you provide approval, we will confirm final quantities with you and provide an invoice for the final balance. After you have settled the balance, your stationery will be sent to print.

6 – PRINT & PRODUCTION

I use a number of professional printing services to create your stationery. Print and assembly can take up to three weeks however I will always let you know if I can get it sooner. 

7 – DELIVERY OR COLLECTION

Once they have arrived at the studio and gone through the rigorous checking procedure I’ll package them up ready for collection. If you’d like to have them posted to you I will send via recorded delivery.
