Baubles For Days

I wrote briefly in my last blog about curved surfaces posing a challenge, and there’s nothing more curved than a bauble or ten million! It’s been the year of baubles for events, and I’m a HUGE fan. Not only do they serve a purpose, if you use them as place settings, but they are also a sweet reminder of a fun event.

This year, along with a few weddings, I’ve also written on baubles for a prestigious Law Firms Christmas event, and a couple of brand activations. It’s been Christmas in the studio since at least September… am I over it? Hell no, ho, ho…

It’s always good to plan ahead if you’re looking for a bespoke item like this. It takes time to ensure that each bauble is given an equal amount of love and attention - Beautiful things can’t be rushed!

When packaging these back up, I like to ensure that they are clearly labelled and boxed or bagged according to the table plan where possible. I like to think that at the other end, when you’re setting up your tables you’ll appreciate not needing to dig through a box of hundreds to find Auntie M!

It’s not just baubles I can write on, earlier in the year I wrote on a job lot of door stops for another wedding - a very useful favour! I’ve also written on records, tin cans, bottles, bags, snow globes, Snowboards, surfboards and more… If you can think of it, then I’m sure I can find a way to write on it!
